Management Team

VisTracks' management team consists of a core group of seasoned executives with significant experience in emerging growth platform technology and channel-based software companies.

Stephen Eick, Founder, President, and CEO, is the original and sole founder of VisTracks, Inc., and is responsible for the company's vision and direction. Dr. Eick is a thought leader in the study of visual analytics and visual business intelligence. As an entrepreneur, Dr. Eick also founded SSS-Research, LLC and Visual Insights. Dr. Eick's leadership and innovation have resulted in numerous best-in-class product awards and a coveted Smithsonian Award for eBizInsights. Dr. Eick also served as Deputy Director National Center for Data Mining at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Dr. Eick had an extensive career with Lucent Bell Labs and managed their Visualization Research Group. Under his direction, 39 patents have been filed. Dr. Eick holds his Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of Minnesota, an M.S. degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, and a B.A. in Mathematics from Kalamazoo College.

Andrew Stein, COO and Executive Vice President Marketing, has 25 years of software business experience and is responsible for operations and marketing. Mr. Stein is responsible for positioning the company and its brand as a market leader in position and movement analytics. Mr. Stein's experience is rooted in Business to Engineer (B2E) strategic technology marketing. Mr. Stein joined VisTracks after a successful career in 3D modeling and imaging technologies for energy, medical, design, construction, GIS and manufacturing industries. He has held executive leadership positions at companies including Paradigm BV, Geomagic, Leica Geosystems HDS and Autodesk, Inc. Mr. Stein holds a B.S. degree in geology from Western Illinois University.

Keith Gelinas, Executive Vice President of Sales, has 20 years experience and is responsible for business development and sales. Mr. Gelinas has broad sales and marketing management experience as an executive with P&L responsibility. He has held strategic business unit and OEM leadership positions in automotive, material handling, and electronics design and manufacturing industries at Federal Mogul, Hendrickson International, Interlake Material Handling, and The Morey Corporation. Mr. Gelinas served as an Officer in the United States Air Force, received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from Norwich University, and completed an M.B.A. from the University of North Dakota.

Robert Holt, Senior Vice President, Product Development, has 25 years of software engineering experience and is responsible for platform technology commercialization. Mr. Holt has executive-level experience managing software development and product organizations at companies such as Autodesk, Inc., AppForge (now Oracle), and Ryma Technology Solutions. He has built scalable platform architectures for Computer Aided Design, GIS, mobile computing, and other industries. Mr. Holt held research and development positions at Bell Labs. Mr. Holt holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jay M. Gratz, CFO, is responsible for the finance and analytical functions. He is focused on driving the underlying economics of the business, ensuring the firm has adequate funds to implement its strategy, the integrity of financial statements and communication with stakeholders. Gratz most recently was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ryerson with responsibility for Finance, M&A, the supply chain and growing international operations. Mr. Gratz has a BA degree in Economics from the State University of NY at Buffalo, a MM degree from Northwestern University and is a CPA.
