Jim Treleaven

Jim Treleaven is the COO of VisTracks and President and CEO of Via Strategy Group, LLC (VSG). VSG advises CEOs, Boards of Directors, and other C level executives on growth and turnaround strategies and M&A. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Illinois, Chicago, Department of Information and Decision Sciences.  He has had a successful career in industry as the CEO of both public and private technology companies ranging in size from $40 to $500 million.  He is the co-author of “X-Formation, Transforming Business Through Interim Executive Leadership”. He currently serves on the Board of the Illinois Technology Association (ITA), the Chicago Engineers Foundation, the Advisory Boards of three graduate Business Schools and on the Boards of several private companies.  He received his BS in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, his MBA from the University of Minnesota and his PhD in Management from Case.
